Call for Papers

The Iranian Institute of Philosophy (IRIP) is pleased to announce that its 1st Annual Colloquium will be held on the 21st – 23rd February 2007, in Tehran, IRAN.

The Colloquium (IRIPAC), in its first event, is intended to provide a common forum for researchers and students of philosophy to present their latest research findings and novel ideas in the area of Analytic Philosophy.

IRIPAC will include keynote addresses by eminent international philosophers, as well as regular sessions. All papers of regular sessions will be peer reviewed and their acceptance will be based on quality, originality, and relevance.

The review process is double blind, and will be carried out in two phases. First, authors are invited to submit an abstract of their paper. Second, only those authors who receive an acceptance notification for their abstract, are invited to submit a full paper. Those who receive an acceptance notification for their full paper will present their papers in the Colloquium.

Abstracts of accepted full papers will be printed and distributed during the Colloquium. Accepted full papers will be consequently published by IRIP, and a modest honorarium will be allocated to their authors.
